I had an amazing experience at Ganiyat African Hair Braiding. The shop is clean, professional, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Ganiyat works fast but still pays attention to every detail, and the braids came out neat, tight, and exactly how I wanted them. The parts were clean, the sizing was perfect, and the style looks like it’s going to last a long time.

This is my new go-to shop for braids. I took my daughter here to get her hair done in stitch braids, and the experience was great from beginning to end. Recently got my hair braided they do a really good job but this time it wasnt fuller like I usually get it next time I will let them know I guess cause it was busy other then that it's cute everyone comes there to get hair braided .....Just next time I want a lot of braids like I usually have lol but my braids last for like 3 to 4 months so this is a good place for braids locs etc.....and haircut as well,...more

The women in this braiding salon are so nice. This is the first African braiding salon I’ve been to where I can genuinely say I felt comfortable enough. They had a few regulars come in with high spirits which proves how warm welcoming it is. I was even offered a piece of ferrero rocher chocolates, which is one of my favorites. I got butt-length jumbo knotless braids with the curly hair. I do think they are expensive which throws me off and my reason for deducting a star and because the curly hair they put in my hair only took one day before it got matted and I had to start ripping/cutting it out....more

Highly recommend this shop, as someone with a different hair texture I am hesitant to allow anyone braid it. It’s long and “silky” but fragile. I believe it was the owner herself who took care of me and was so gentle with my hair. There was some tension because it is braids but not a single sore spot after walking out. All the other styles I saw being done looked super crisp (the parts) and neat.

Amazing service and braiding! I went in wanting 4 cornrows for my vacation and the owner told me 6 would look best and I’m so glad I listened because they looked great. The salon is very clean and the staff are very attentive. The price was reasonable and it took less than 2 hrs. I would really recommend getting your braids done here....more

All the hairstylists combined were some of the sweetest and most hospitable people I have ever met. The customer service is off the hook here… the owner even went out of her way to grab some free food for all the customers the day I came. Where to beginning the owner have very good customer service, from I reach out to her she responds quickly...I had a 9am appointment to get my hair Senegalese twist and she was on time..She work very fast and neat..And all the ladies where mask and the owner sanitize work area before and after each client..I Had a wonderful experience will definitely go again ..I like the fact that the owner gave me advice and how to take care of my edge and my hair...5 stars all the way.....more

She literally does it all ! Whatever braided style you want , she and her girls know how to do . She doesn’t over charge or anything . She’s pretty fast (if she’s the one doing your hair ) .
